In 1998 a fieldwalker found fragments of Roman and medieval pottery. Metal detecting in 2008 produced further Roman, Medieval and post-medieval finds

Two base sherds Roman grey.
Four body sherds and one strap handle medieval unglazed.
One body sherd late medieval stoneware, unglazed and with no sign of iron wash.
