Summary

Metal-detecting in 1998 and again between 2006 and 2012 recovered Late Mesolithic/Early Neolithic flint blades; Late Neolithic/Bronze Age worked flints; Romano-British pottery; Iron Age, Roman, Late Saxon, medieval and post-medieval coins and Early Saxon, Late Saxon, medieval, medieval/post-medieval and post-medieval objects. The metal finds include an unusual Early Saxon side knob from a Cruciform brooch; a Late Saxon copper alloy strap-end; a medieval buckle, mount, pot mend and lead weight; medieval/post-medieval lead weights and copper alloy vessel fragments and post-medieval dress accessories, a hooked mount from a sword belt and a three pence of Charles II's 'undated Maundy' issue, dating to c.1664-70 that has been converted into a pendant.

Small (16 by 13.5mm) oval medieval bronze buckle frame, rather crudely made. Outer edge thickened into rectangular strip which has a pair of off-centre transverse grooves. Narrowed bar. 12th/14th century.

Found around same time but apparently reported separately:
Post-medieval pendant made from silver threepence of Charles II (c.1664-70).
The post-medieval coin pendant was returned to the finder after being disclaimed as Treasure (Ref: 2012 T296).
