Summary

Metal detecting at this site during the period 1990-98 recovered Roman, Late Saxon and medieval metal artefacts. These included a Roman brooch, a rare example of a Late Saxon papal bull, a medieval papal bull, a medieval seal matrix, Late Saxon brooches, an unidentified Late Saxon object resembling a miniature censer cover and several coins.
