Lava quern fragment found by farmer in hedge in field, centred at TF 8199 2702.
Approximately one third of a lower stone, diameter 540mm.
Maximum thickness 22mm.
Working face has well cut parallel grooves, slightly curving, in two directions.
Reverse roughly finished.
Probably medieval.

Correct grid reference for find spot of quern is TF 8206 2710.
Supplied by finder [2] who found quern fragment while erecting electric fence in hedge bottom.
