Summary

Archaeological evaluations were undertaken here in 1999 in advance of development. A number of features were noted including a Late Saxon ditch with pottery, medieval ditches, pits and postholes with pottery and butchered animal bone. The medieval pits and ditches dated from the 12th to 16th century and appeared to delineate a constantly-reinstated boundary dividing the rear of these properties.
