Summary

In 1999 the construction of CCTV cameras on the junction of Ber Street and Horns Lane disturbed a child skeleton. This is thought to be a burial from within the churchyard of St Bartholomew's (NHER 399), from which other burials are listed at NHER 7.

5 May 1999. Excavation of hole by City Council for CCTV at junction of Ber Street and Horns Lane.
Three feet (0.9m) down in sand, below on electricity cable, child skeleton with skull, ribs and long bones.
Presumably a burial within the churchyard of St Bartholomew's (NHER 399). For other burials see NHER 7. The remains to be reinterred in the same excavation.
