Summary

No direct evidence for archaeological remains was recorded during the monitoring of piling operations at this site in 1999. A number of medieval pottery sherds were however recovered in the spoil from the piles.

Monitoring of piling operations.
Although no direct evidence for archaeologically signficant deposits was recorded, a number of medieval pottery sherds were recovered from pile cores extracted from considerable depth.
No report received. The results of this work are however summarised in (S1).
