Full Description
January-April 1997. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey on proposed route of Bacton to Great Yarmouth pipeline (Field/location RDX 1.3).
Fieldwalking and metal detecting in 1997 recovered a prehistoric scraper, a struck flint fragment, pot boilers, an unidentified medieval metal object, and three musket balls.

Observation of trench dug for new electricity cable running between Bacton and North Walsham (Field 37).
No archaeologically significant features or deposits observed.
Unstratified finds recovered included:
3 prehistoric worked flints (types not specified).
