Summary

Fieldwalking and metal detecting during pipe laying in 1997 recovered prehistoric struck flints including a scraper and a core, a pot boiler, medieval to post medieval pottery and tile fragments, a post medieval coin, and a 17th century copper alloy backplate from a drawer handle.

Field survey on proposed route of Bacton to Great Yarmouth pipeline (Field/Location RDX 5.1).
Fieldwalking and metal detecting recovered a potboiler, struck flints including a scraper and a core, medieval and post medieval sherds and tile, a post medieval coin, and a 17th century copper alloy backplate from a drawer handle. Several undated lead and iron objects were also recovered.
