Full Description
January-April 1997. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey on proposed route of Bacton to Great Yarmouth pipeline (Field/Location RDX 5.3).
One struck flint fragment, one medieval tile, two medieval pottery sherds, and four post medieval tile fragments were recovered during fieldwalking. Metal detecting yielded several undated iron items, including a hooked fitting and a stud, as well as two undated copper alloy buttons. These are likey of post medieval to modern date.
