Summary

Fieldwalking here in advance of the Bacton to Great Yarmouth gas pipeline recovered prehistoric burnt and worked flints, medieval and post medieval pottery fragments and medieval and post medieval roof tiles. Metal-detecting in 2018 and 2022 recovered Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins and a number of other metal objects, including a medieval buckle; medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragments and a post-medieval silver hooked tag.

January-April 1997. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey on proposed route of Bacton to Great Yarmouth pipeline (Field/Location RDX 12.4).
A prehistoric scraper, a retouched flake, a flake, and a pot boiler were recovered along with medieval to post medieval pottery and tile.
