Summary

Fieldwalking in 1997 in advance of the Bacton to Great Yarmouth pipeline recovered prehistoric flints along with two post medieval coins and an angel's wing from a post medieval object.

January-April 1997. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey on proposed route of Bacton to Great Yarmouth pipeline (Field/Location RDX 29.1).
Ten Prehistoric flints were recovered during fieldwalking including flakes, retouched flakes, and struck fragments. These finds represent the northern portion of a general spread of flints which includes RDX 29.2 (NHER 34015) and RDX 29.3 (NHER 34016). Metal detecting yielded two post medieval coins and post medieval copper alloy angel's wing.
