Full Description
July 1972. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description excerpt:
"Shop and flat. 17th-century origins, altered since. Colourwashed brick to front, rear parts partly timber-framed. Pantile roof. Two storeys in three bays with additional bay to carriage entrance to north entered via double timber doors...Bell-based gabled roof. Internal gable-end stack to south. Rear with a large weatherboarded gable over carriage entrance.
INTERIOR. Large chamfered bridging beam and plain joists to ground floor…"

November 1998. Building Survey.
Timber framed house, little visible but apparently very late 17th century and interesting as a late example of constructional techniques; possibly once two house and jettied.
(In garden outhouse contains part of precinct wall of abbey - see NHER 9437 for that).
