Summary

Geophysical survey in 1998 of route of a proposed gas pipeline recorded a possible linear alignment of small pits, and a surface concentration of chalk. Fieldwalking produced medieval to post medieval building material and one flint flake.

This field shows localised susceptibility anomalies and lies close to a recorded finds scatter (NHER 7241). There is a possible linear alignment of small features here.This may represent a possible alignment of small pits, and a surface concentration of chalk.
