Summary

In 1998 Network Archaeology conducted a geophysical survey that revealed a number of undated features. They may or may not be archaeological. Several pits were excavated in this area and to the south during subsequent excavation in 1999 and have been recorded as part of NHER 34119.

April to July 1999. Archaeological excavation and watching brief.
A scatter of knapped and fire-cracked flints were recovered along a 0.5km length of the pipeline in this area, which were possibly associated with a small number of potential hearths and a well, dated tentatively to the late Neolithic or Bronze Age, they have been recorded with NHER 34119.
