Summary

This 17th century timber framed house now consists of one cell on two floors; although the ground floor retains the early 17th century ceiling and screen. The roof is a replacement. The wing to the east is of 19th century date and it may replace part of an older building.

17th century timber framed house, now consisting of one cell on two floors; ground floor retains early 17th century ceiling and screen. Brick west gable with chimneystack and windows. Roof replaced. Wing to east of 19th century date, may replace part of older building. 20th century alterations.

EXTERIOR: Standley Cottage is 2 storeys; single-window range."
