Full Description
January 1998. Trial Trenching.
Evaluation in advance of development.
Prehistoric cremation, Roman ditches and medieval quarry pits.
Finds recovered included Bronze Age worked flint, Roman, medieval and post-medieval sherds, Roman brick and medieval buckle (called book clasp in report).
