Full Description
16th-17th century timber frame and brick, glazed black pantiles. Possible hall and cross passage with flanking wings. Left-hand gabled bay set forward and jettied, first floor and attic windows. Fourth bay has gable and bressumer beam. Off centre chimneystack with two octagonal shafts, similar stack on right-hand stepped gable. 17th century rear brick stair projection with mullioned and transformed window, ovolo moulded. Hall has massive roll moulded beam; left-hand wing with roll moulded and foliage decoration. Stairs with turned balusters and balls. Part of roof arch braced and butt purlin, remainder not seen.
