Summary

Dormer Cottage was once a pair of cottages, though it has been consolidated into one house. It is timber-framed with a brick plinth, and an infill of wattle and daub and flint, and is htought to date to the 18th century. This one storey building has an off-centre chimneystack and a fireplace with a bread oven.

Pair of cottages, now one house.
Timber framed on brick plinth, infill of wattle and daub and flint. One storey and dormers. Off centre stack. Windows and doors replaced 1972. Right bay of 19th century brick; remainder 18th century. Timber-frame of thin scantling and wide studs. Large fireplace with bread oven. Arched wallbraces under plate at corners. Roof of tiebeams on arched braces with two tiers butt purlins.
