Summary

A good example of an early 19th-century butchers' shopfront, with an eight-light window with curved tops to the lights. It is set in a late 18th-century brown brick house.

Listing Description excerpt:
"Shop and flat. Late 18th century. Brown brick. Roof not visible. Three storeys in three bays. Excellent early 19th-century butchers' shopfront...Entrance is set to left of an eight-light transomed shop window with curved heads to the lights. Tiled edges and plinth. Panelled door to passage to rear is to right under a pierced grille. Sashes to floors above are late 19th-century...Projecting eaves cornice with paired bracket decoration. Gabled roof with an internal gable-end stack to east."
