(S2) notes that this property was described as a 'Van Office' (presumably some form of commercial transport business) on a map of 1848. It is possible that the horses for this business were housed in stables immediately to the west, now known as Fell's Warehouse (NHER 63496). This is supported by a plaque on Fell's Warehouse with the initials 'LJW' which denotes either Lewis Weston Jarvis, attorney, or his son Lewis Whincop Jarvis. Lewis Whincop Jarvis lived in Nos. 8-10 Tuesday Market Place in 1871.
