Listing Description excerpt:
"Public house. Early 19th-century reconstruction of a 17th-century house. Red brick. Pantiled roof. Three storeys; two-window range. Late 19th-century public house façade built out from existing building-line comprises a central door...separated by Corinthian pilasters. Tiled dado...Paired modillions to eaves cornice. Gabled roof with an internal gable-end stack to south. North gable wall, in Row 109, has some 17th-century flint and brick. Door to right. Rear with sashes and the scars of a gabled wing removed late 20th century. INTERIOR: ground floor with four bridging beams with sunk-quadrant mouldings and jewelled tongue stops. Rear door to south with an early 17th-century frame...Winder staircase. First floor with bridging beams with sunk-quadrant mouldings and run-out (north) and tongue stops (south)."
