Roman brooch identified as Polden Hill, pin and foot missing, taces of tinning/silvering, eight-coil spring, two moulded vertical grooves on both wings, wingspan 15mm, bow with exaggerated Dolphin style hump and five fine longitudinal grooves. Dated by [2] as late 1st to early/mid 2nd century.
