Summary

A metal-detecting at this location between 1998 and 2022 recovered a Early Bronze Age barbed and tanged flint arrowhead; a Late Saxon/medieval hone stone; Roman and medieval coins and a number of other metal objects, including a possible Roman strap end, a medieval sword pommel and bar mount and a post-medieval silver seal matrix.
