Full Description
1995/ 1996. Metal detecting.
10th century Anglo-Scandinavian disc brooch with low relief ornament. Remains of lug and catchplate on back.
Front shows heavy wear corresponding to position of pin on back. Interlace ornament worn but probably Borre style.
Identified by S. Margeson (NCM), 1996.
