May 1999. Visit. Garden of westernmost council house counted as Sandy Lane though physically Swaffham Road.
Mortar spigot. Still retains corrugated iron cladding. Now buried in flower bed behind hedge. Householder is aware of its importance. It is said that local legend locates a pillbox 'on the opposite side of the stream' (if so, this would probably be in Scarning parish).
