Summary

Metal detecting in 1998 discovered an incredibly rare gold ring with an inset coin of the emperor Postumus. The ring survived in good condition and is one of only two such examples ever to be found in Britain. This item was declared to be Treasure and was subsequently purchased by the British Museum.
