Summary

Metal-detecting at this location between 1998 and 2025 recovered a medieval pottery sherd; Late Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; a post-medieval token and a number of other metal objects, including an undated copper alloy incomplete ingot or casting waste; a Middle/Late Bronze Age tanged gouge; an Early/Middle Saxon mount; a Late Saxon/medieval staff terminal; medieval buckles, a probable strap end, floral mount, copper alloy trade weight, lead seal matrix and lead ampulla and a medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragment, lead loomweight or spindle whorl and silver finger ring.
