Summary

This building is thought to be a former poorhouse. It is a single storey structure with an attic, and is apparently of three bays. The bricks have horizontal skintlings.

Single storey and attic house apparently of three bays; bricks have horizontal skintlings (post 1770).
(S1) in discussing the site of a chapel in the south side of the churchyard mentioned in 1550 (see site NHER 2229) states that this was 'next to where the poorhouse later stood'. Church warden in 1999 confirms this building in known locally as the old poorhouse though that is not its official name.
