Summary

No 23 is a house of around 1770, constructed of red brick and two storeys high with five bays. There is a south gabled chimneystack and an offcentre chimneystack, as well as a north gable with a Venetian window with interior fluted Doric columns.

Listing Description excerpt:
"House. c.1770. Red brick; pantiled roof. Exterior: two storeys. Five-window range. Centre bay broken forward...Timber pilaster doorcase with pediment...Modillion eaves cornice. Gabled roof with an internal gable-end stack to south and a ridge stack left of centre…Interior:…four-panelled doors, eared fire surround to ground-floor north room, moulded cornices. Stick-baluster staircase with ramped and wreathed handrail."
