Summary

A 17th-century brick house, with later alterations. The house has diapered brickwork and polygonal chimneys.

Listing Description excerpt:
"House, early 17th century; much altered and renovated. Red brick, steeply pitched reed-thatched roof...former lobby entrance plan (door now blocked) T-shaped, with 20th-century extension at north-west corner. Windows all 20th-century replacements...Brickwork in English bond with traces of diapering. Three dormers with swept roofs. Off-centre axial stack with three attached octagonal shafts on moulded brick base. Parapeted and coped gables with tumbling-in and platband on south. Internal chimney stack on north gable. 1½ storey gabled wing to west with rendered chimney stack on north side. Platband on gable."

Brick house with mixture of early and late 17th century details.
Red brick and reed thatch.
English bond brickwork with diapering.
Three dormers, windows all 20th century.
Off centre axial stack with three polygonal shafts.
Parapeted and tumbled gables, platband on south gable.
Internal north gable stack.
Gabled wing to west with north stack and platband on gable.
1 storey and attic, it originally had a lobby entrance, but the door is now blocked.
18th century service wing.
Much altered mid 20th century.
Photographs provided by Broadland District Council, see (S2), show the north gable with removed platband, and what seems to be evidence of a much lower gable line. Another blocked door is visible besides the lobby entrance, and blocked windows.
