1999. Stray Find.
Casual find when walking. Found on surface of field near a track:
3 prehistoric flint flakes.
Probably identified by finder [1].
Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 13 July 2014.

March 2011. Metal-detecting. [2].
Finds identified by HES but not recorded on the PAS database:
1 undatable prehistoric flint flake.
1 Mesolithic/Early Neolithic flint flake.
1 Middle-Late Saxon strap end.
1 medieval strap slide, 1 strap end, 2 buckles and 1 folding candleholder
1 medieval/post-medieval iron key and 2 copper alloy rings.
1 post-medieval copper alloy mount.
1 undatable lead weight.
Finds recorded on the PAS database [2]:
1 Roman hoard comprising 5 silver denarii. The earliest three, showing a reasonable amount of wear, are of the Flavian dynasty whilst the other two are in crisper condition and show little sign of circulation. It seems likely that the five coins went into the ground together, probably in the very late 2nd century or very early 3rd.
3 medieval coins.
1 post-medieval token.
A. Beckham (HES), 12 March 2013 and E. Darch (HES), 28 September 2012. Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 13 July 2014.
