Full Description
Pre October 1999. Metal detecting.
Find spot uncertain, probably from Lessingham parish.
Very battered Iron Age terret fragment, consisting of part of a heavy subrectangular section bar; pronounced stop ridge of oval shape; and part of a loop, triangular section with concave sides and apex outermost.
The loop is badly battered. But there is no sign of any ornamentation, lips, ribs or knobs.
A. Rogerson (NLA), 14 November 1999.
