Location

Civil Parish STALHAM, NORTH NORFOLK, NORFOLK

Map

1944.
'Urn' said to have been ploughed up (now lost).
A. Rogerson (NLA) 12 June 1999.

Note that the grid reference (no map provided by NCM) is in marshland which might perhaps have been ploughed during 'Dig for Victory' but it seems improbable.
Is this a confusion with a folk memory of NHER 8311? See confidential note.
E. Rose (NLA) 21 January 2000.
