NHER 35026 (Find Spot record) - Multi-period finds

June 1998. Metal-detecting. Finder's Fieldwork no TRH1. [1].
Undatable incomplete circular flat lead disc with two recessed lines around outer edge of once face and italicise lettering (unclear). No obvious means of attachment. A seal? Polaroid taken.
Medieval strap end in the form of a tree. The triangular openwork knop represents the trunk and the branches while the circular attachment end has roots engraved on it around an oval perforation. Four bronze rivets would have originally secured the back plate, now missing; traces of white metal coating can be seen, particularly on the reverse. 15th century.

Survey undertaken (at request of landowner) as part of the Norfolk Archaeological Trust's 'Imagined Land' project - a community archaeology project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Finds recovered included:
