Summary

A site visit in 1999 observed a number of burnt flints across this area. It is possible that there may be a burnt mound within the vicinity, which is a mound of fire-cracked stones, normally accompanied by a trough or pit that could be locations where heated stones were used to boil water possibly for cooking purposes.
