Full Description
2000. Stray Find.
Worked flints found on two occasions on grass bank of Whitlingham Lane car park. These finds were donated to the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 2001.231.1.1) and are described in the museum's records as 5 flint blades (length 32-47mm), 4 with heavy white patina. No date has been suggested for these flints, although their condition may indicate they are Mesolithic/Early Neolithic.
E. Rose (NLA), 27 January 2000. Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 25 March 2014.
