November to December 1997. Metal detecting. [1].
Early post medieval belt mount with central domed oval lobe with moulded ridge at either end. One end then has a knopped terminal with rivet hole, the other has a hook with a circular plate terminal. Both rivet holes are blocked with ?iron corrosion. Probably part of a sword harness.
