Summary

A watching brief in 2000 recorded a medieval flint wall foundation. Also found were two pits containing cattle horn cores, which suggests a tannery shown on a map of 1885 had its origins in the 17th century or earlier. Fragments of medieval and post medieval pottery were recovered during the works.
