Summary

Nos 77 to 79 are a pair of the few remaining early 19th century one-up-one down terrace houses in Norwich. They were converted to a single building in the late 19th century, and have 20th century rear extensions. Each house has one first floor sash window, one shop window and one door. The 20th century rear extension incorportates older smoke house.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Pair of houses. Early 19th century (adjoining houses not included dated 1816). Whitewashed red brick. Pantiled roof (red to rear slope, black-glazed to front).
PLAN: one-up, one-down terraced houses without a rear extension when built.
EXTERIOR: Two storeys, two-window range."
