Summary

Metal detecting recovered many objects dating from the Roman to the post medieval period. These include a Roman mount in the shape of a goat's head, a Middle to Late Saxon strap end with an animal head terminal and the front part of a medieval buckle frame. The frame is decorated with an openwork scene of a knight fighting a lion. Roman, medieval and post medieval coins were also found.
