Full Description
Pre 1991.
According to (S1) the Birmingham City Museum holds a Palaeolithic cordate flint handaxe that is recorded as being from "Clarence Park [Broome? or Norwich]" in Norfolk.
It is somewhat doubtful whether this is actually a Norfolk find. The county does not appear to have anywhere known as Clarence Park, although there are several Clarence Roads, including one in Norwich. It should also be noted that "Clarence Park" and "Clarence Park Road" in Bournemouth are both listed in (S2) as locations where Palaeolithic handaxes had been recovered prior to 1968.
