Summary

Metal-detecting between 1999 and 2019 recovered Roman and medieval pottery sherds; Roman, Middle Saxon, medieval and post-medieval coins; post-medieval jettons and tokens and a range of other, Late Iron Age to Roman and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Late Iron Age/Roman brooch; a Roman brooch and a coin blank; a potentially Roman unidentified copper alloy object; a Late Saxon strap end; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval leash swivel and harness pendant; a medieval/post-medieval purse bar, copper alloy rivet and copper alloy cauldron fragment and a post-medieval sword-harness hook, harness mount, drop-handle escutcheon plate, copper alloy and lead weights, lead cloth seals and unidentified lead object.
