4 May 2000. Visited.
Originally a timber framed 16th century house on the cross-passage plan, with upper floor; evidenced now by ground floor moulded spine beam, the positions of the doors etc. In the early 17th century a brick south gable wall was added to convert the service rooms into a kitchen. The house was remodelled with a new brick façade, raised floor and overall roof in the 18th century. 19th century alterations and additions led to mutilation of the façade.
