Summary

An archaeological watching brief carried out during the excavation of footings recovered no archaeological features and a possible Roman pottery gaming piece was the only find. Very deep soils were encountered and recorded.

Largely negative results, with deep soils observed and no archaeologically significant features identified.
A possible Roman gaming piece was the only finds of note recovered.
