Full Description
February to March 2000. Metal detecting.
Medieval part of one side and terminal from an copper alloy spur.
The terminal is curved and pierced twice; both holes have a decorative groove next to them and are now so worn that they have cut through the groove.
The side is attached next to one hole, and curves up before turning down again to a fairly fresh break.
There is a bold oblique groove on the side.
Identified H. M. Geake (A&E)
A. Rogerson (NLA) 12 April 2000.
