Summary

Fieldwalking in this area during 2000 recovered a prehistoric flint flake, lots of medieval and post medieval pottery sherds and two medieval brick fragments. A dense scatter of medieval pottery indicates the site of a medieval settlement, and later maps show a building in this area in the post-medieval period.
