Summary

Metal detecting prior to March 1992 recovered a Late Saxon disc brooch. The circumstance of its discovery and the exact findspot are uncertain. The brooch was made from pewter and had a raised central roundel and two rows of pellets at the borders.

S. M. Margeson (NCM) wrote 'Lug parallel to edge and catchplate on reverse. Raised central roundel, two rows of pellets border slightly uneven edge'.
