Map

Marked as Fall Gate on 1953 6 inch Ordnance Survey map.
Listed building description (S1) states 'probably 17th century' extended 1975 but describes only the exterior.
Photographs by local historian seen by E. Rose, (NLA) in 2000 show traces of possible jetty, canted principals (so-called upper crucks) and later inserted tiebeams lying on the upper floor. This would confirm a 16th/17th century date.
E. Rose (NLA), 21 July 2000.
