Estate farm for Letton Hall.
Of the farm buildings, barn alone listed, see (S1), but the farm as a whole is of importance.
Barn described as early 19th century, flint, fine brick dressings, pantile roof. 5 bays; central threshing doors; ventilation panels each side with lunette panels above. Brick quoins, dentilled eaves. Left gable wall has similar panels and circular panel in gable; right gablewall altered. Pentise at rear. Roof of pegged trusses, some supported on posts and braces from wooden corbels: 2 tiers of purlins. Some original framing at sides of threshing floor; later upper floor.
The farm was clearly built of high quality to go with the park buildings.
